All About the Artist

Memory and identity are Elke Clarks's main themes in her work. She draws from experience she gained from moving countries twice. She is now living in London/England after spending her formative years in Austria and Germany.

She uses materials best suited for the projects at the time e. g. oils, acrylic, inks, print and photography. Occasionally she creates a sculpture, using recycled material with a twist for the "new" but faithful to her theme, identity and memory.

Nowadays Elke gets her inspiration from her family and friends and her love for nature. She loves to experiment with materials and styles.
